NYAMBAATAR KHISHGEE REAPPOINTED AS GOVERNOR OF THE CAPITAL CITY AND MAYOR OF ULAANBAATAR CITY

At the first session of the Citizens' Representatives Khural of the Capital City, the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) nominated Nyambaatar Khishgee for Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City. The majority of the Representatives supported the nomination.

The decision and related documents from the session will be submitted to the Prime Minister of Mongolia.

During the session, Nyambaatar Khishgee, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City, stated, "The upcoming four years will be marked by great development and significant progress. The 2024-2028 Action Program for the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City will align with the platform proposed by the MPP in the 2024 Citizens' Representatives Khural of the Capital City elections, the Mongolian Government's 2024-2028 Action Program, and the Ulaanbaatar City General Development Plan 2040. This plan will focus on ensuring the development of the population, society, and economy, balanced environmental sustainability, and improved governance. It will be comprehensive, coordinated, non-overlapping, inclusive, and ensure public participation," according to the Public Relations Department of the Mayor's Office.
