CHAIRMAN ZANDANSHATAR ADDRESSES NIKKEI FORUM
Nikkei Forum 29th “Future of Asia”, an annual Asia and the Pacific summit is taking place on May 23-24, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. Chairman of the State Great Khural Zandanshatar Gombojgv delivered a speech at the Forum on democratic development, the current state of Mongolia, and future trends.
At the Nikkei Forum, leaders from across the region discuss the role and influence of Asian countries at the international level and exchange opinions on solutions to regional problems. This year is an election year in the United States and several Asian countries, and it is a responsible time when more than half of the world's population, or 4 billion people, make their political choices. Also, the war between Ukraine and Russia and the armed conflicts in the Middle East continue. Therefore, the leaders of Asia and the Pacific region are discussing how to take leadership in creating conditions for peaceful coexistence of countries.
During the Forum, Speaker of the Parliament G. Zandanshatar participated in the sub-session on cooperation between the private sector of Mongolia and Japan, sharing views on public-private partnerships, reports the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural.
