POWER OF ATTORNEY

The Embassy of Mongolia in Bangkok can certify the Power of Attorney and Declarations for official use within the territory of Mongolia. Please note that due to restricted notarial competence of the consular service, documents such as minutes or protocols etc. must be legalized by the corresponding competent foreign authority. /See Legalisation of Documents below/

Key considerations:

  • According to Article 15.1 of the Civil Code of Mongolia, any individual who have not reached the age of 18 is not of legal capacity. Therefore, you must be above the age of 18 to get notarial services of the Embassy of Mongolia.
  • The clients or the signees must bring their passport or national ID/for Mongolian citizens/ with a valid period.
  • If the client or the signee is a foreign national, presence of an interpreter is required.
  • The Power of Attorney or the declaration must be translated into Mongolian by certified translation services.
  • The Consular Section verifies the signatures of the foreign nationals only if the document is intended to have effect in Mongolia.
