INFORMATION ON COP17 CONFERENCE AVAILABLE ONLINE

The 17th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) will be held in Ulaanbaatar from August 17 to 28 under the theme “Restoring Land, Restoring Hope.”

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change reported that detailed information about COP17 is available on the official website: https://unccdcop17.org/.

Among the Conferences of the Parties to be convened this year under the three Rio Conventions, COP17 of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification will be the first to take place. The conference is expected to play an important role in shaping global environmental discussions and priorities for the year ahead.
